A warm applause to the five-student team that participated in CFA Institute Research Challenge 2016-17 and garnered first runner up, they are:

• CHAN, Wan Cheung (GBUS & ECON Yr4)
• MO, Chelsea (GBUS & FINA Yr4)
• YEUNG, Yu Pang Perry (ECOF Yr4)
• LAM, Chun Kit (QFIN Yr 4), and
• CHUI, Siu Ming (ECOF Yr 4)

Applying the competition on their own, the team was selected by Prof. Entela Benz, who was also the team's Faculty Advisor. These five students won the first runner up among the total 11 teams (Hong Kong round) in the presentation held on Feb 25, 2017.
