Women and men received markedly different advice from local financial advisors, according to recent research. Frequently, women were pushed into making riskier investments.
In an event organized by 100 Women in Finance (www.100women.org), Professor Utpal Bhattacharya will share key findings from his research "Do Women Get Worse Financial Advice?".
Prof Bhattacharya will be joined by the investment professionals Edwin Cheung (Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong); Angelina Kwan (Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute); and Sudesh Thevasenabathy (Manulife). The event will be moderated by Karen Au, CFA, CA, CPA, representing 100 Women in Finance's Hong Kong Education and Impact Committees.
